Southside
Leaders: John & Jacqueline Adams
Meets on: Every 2nd Thursday, 7.45 pm
We are a small but varied group, meeting in the Southside but coming from all over the city. As we are all busy people, our group only meets every two or three weeks, but that means that there is less pressure on each of us.
For Autumn 2005, we are looking back to some ancient wisdom writings from the 14th Century, and are studying the Imitation of Christ by Thomas a Kempis. We are attempting to see if the experience of a 14th Century monk can say anything to us in the 21st Century.
As part of our active social conscience, we have been known to get through five bars of Divine chocolate in one meeting.
