I simply don't like the texture nor taste of meat. I can cope, for example, with tinned tuna but if it's 'real' tuna it is too meaty. I can just about cope with prawns every once in a while. I hate things like veggie sausages or soya mince. If I wanted to eat a sausage I'd just eat one! Does that make sense?

I've never asked you this before - why did you become veggie?

That's why I really go for Middle Eastern/Indian food as it's so much more geared up for veggie chompers.

Yes, I sometimes wish I liked meat so I could enjoy the variety and selection that you do :(

I'm afraid most restaurants are set up for omnivores. However, if you call in advance, many of the top chefs' restaurants will offer a wider veggie choice.

Although probably not Gordon Ramsay.

Choice is probably even more limited for people who eat halal or kosher though.

It's a shame that these places only seem to offer a token meal for vegetarians. If I went I'd only have the choice of one starter and main course. Not what I call choice. OK, so it's my 'fault' for not eating meat but it does seem a bit limiting. From my experience, the posher the restaurant the less the veggie choice. Weird eh?
